My wife Rosie and I have been playing Sky Team for a little while now; we've been through all the airports at least twice, so I thought it would be fun to design some tracks of my own. Thanks to Rosie for testing these with me; we've managed to complete all of them unless otherwise noted.
Do check back from time to time; I'll be tweaking and adding new tracks frequently.
Congratulations to Luc Rémond for a truly excellent game design.
Sky Team is published by Scorpion Masque. If you haven't already bought a copy, I can highly recommend it!
Most of the pretty bits of the boards here were produced by the Sky Team board generator created by BGG user mleko. Images are mostly taken from wikipedia, and are appropriately credited. Everything else is my fault (Stephen Tavener, mrraow most places)
A quick guide to my track ratings. You'll see a quantity of chili peppers by some of the tracks; these are added complications that do not change the quantity of dice you have spare (e.g. fuel leak, interns). You'll also see a number - this is how many dice you should have left over if you play perfectly.
Each track is presented in four progressive difficulty levels, following the standard Sky Team protocol:
Note that when chosing special abilities, "Control" and "Synchronisation" effectively give you extra dice and will therefore reduce the difficulty.
I'm mrraow most places including boardgamegeek and gmail. Feedback welcome!
The airport cards are formatted so they can be printed at Make Playing Cards as Custom Game Cards (63 x 88mm).
The stats in the top left corner are just in case if anyone fancies playing top trumps with the cards :)
I plan to format the official airports this way as well for consistency.
Airport | Track | Notes |
---|---|---|

BDA tracks in pdf format | Ever wondered why the Bermuda Triangle has a reputation? Well, you're about to find out! Starts at medium difficulty, and ends up pretty insane. The black track is not for the fainthearted.
Bermuda has the Rosie seal of approval.Boards range from easy (green) to insane (black) but are achievable. |

DUB tracks in pdf format | Dublin is home to a well-known, ultra-low budget airline. These tracks are all about fuel management :) All tested and achievable. |

HKG tracks in pdf format | Kai Tak airport closed in 1998, but was famous for its dangerous flight path through the surrounding city and mountains. It became referred to as the 'Kai Tak Heart Attack', because the planes turned so close to the ground; at under 45m, this was less the wingspan of a medium-size airliner. The turn was so low that passengers could see television sets running in people's residences near the airport.
Here's an interesting video on Kai Tak airport. Anyhow, these tracks are all about the starting height and the sharp turns :) Not tested yet. |

MUC tracks in pdf format | It's all about the coffee. Pilot Stephen likes Celebes Kalossi (black, filtered or cafetière). Green and yellow tracks have been tested, and have the Rosie seal of approval. Red and Black have been tweaked, and need re-testing. |

SAB tracks in pdf format | With high hills on one side, sheer drops at each end, the shortest commercial runway (400m, but only 275m of it usable), and heavy crosswinds, landings at Saba require precise manoeuvres, including steep descents and late flares. Medium difficulty, with increasing spiciness. All tested and achievable. |
